Quotes
Arizona State Assistant Coach Jimmy Kolaitis
On the close loss to Fullerton:

"We're still learning how to win, and the more experience we get, the better we're going to get, but we understand that we've got to make plays when we had opportunities that early in the game."

On aggressiveness in the first game:
"We did some good things. We really saw the strike zone and didn't chase out of the strike zone, but we didn't do as well in the second ball game. Stick with our pros, stick with our game plan, and when you score 10 in the first inning, it relaxes a little bit. So we just got to continue to build off of that."

Sun Devil infielder Kayla Lissy
On looking more comfortable on the field this year:

"Last year, I was battling a lot of injuries, and this year, I'm in a better mental phase too. We have a great defensive coordinator that works well with all of us. I really trust her and trust what she gives us in practice."

On what's important for the upcoming games:
"Our big thing right now is scoring every inning, and even if we are ahead - like seven zip, eight zip, anything - just keep the foot on the gas and just keep pumping every inning because we wanna win every inning. That's just our main goal right now."
