Cheap Flights from Budapest to Prague from £28 | (BUD - PRG) - KAYAK (2024)

Cons: "Flight delayed, sat on plane on ground for 4 hours then missed connecting flight."

Pros: "Crew were very nice and accommodating. Chocolate always appreciated!"

Cons: "The passenger in front of me slammed into my knees. I am very tall. She was not but she sure got her seat back as far as possible in spite of having he bulkhead sear, so I had to be careful of my position the rest of the flight"

Pros: "The crew was quite pleasant and friendly - very accomodating"

Cons: "Entertainment system is outdated, the food was only passable. The chocolate was nice"

Cons: "Flight was delayed and missed 2nd flight due to delay"

Pros: "Both the flight crew and the flight attendants were great. It was the smoothest landing I have had it quite dome time"

Pros: "Even though we flew through turbulances the crew was able to manage their tasks. Plus beautiful stewardess."

Pros: "A nice crew n my seat next to me was empty so I can sleep well..."

Cons: "Maybe give every passenger a bottle of water..."

Cons: "They charged about $230 to convey my skis, compared to about $80 for the first bag. This is such ab unexpectedly big difference as to be a trap. Swiss Air are, in my opinion, con artists. Do not fly with them."

Cons: "I am still in Budapest and was not able to fly back on my Hungarian passport."

Pros: "The BUD-ZRH flight was on Swissair aircraft, not on Edelweiss or another low cost feeder airline. Over the years, I have flown both options, and while Edelweiss is a fine carrier, Swissair flights are still a cut above. Contributing to the positive experience was the friendly agent at check-in at BUD."

Cons: "Nothing. The plane was clean, everything was on time, and everyone was polite and professional."

Pros: "Crew was friendly and the flight was nice and smooth."

Cons: "No expectations as the flight was less than an hour."

Pros: "Seat size was decent, not like us airlines, there’s actually space for you knees."

Cons: "It was pretty cold on the plane, Entertainment , was not current on the movies selection."

Cons: "very rocky,, too confined for such a long flight.thank you for a good lesson not to go austrian again"

Pros: "The staff was very friendly and professional Even got some sleep, not easy on economy seats but on this flight they were actually good."

Cons: "The other travelers were loud rude and didn't listen to instructions. Also clapping loudly upon landing and it's very annoying. Parents don't take responsibility for their children."

Cons: "I had a weelchair and nobody assist me in Viene in Austria And I lost"

Cons: "Missed the connection because the flights were booked too closely together. Then had to wait 7 hours in the airport for the next flight. It only takes 4 hours to drive there but I don’t have a car."

Pros: "Not much!"

Cons: "No one available nor willing to help with checking process. Told to just try the checking machines."

Pros: "Friendly staff, efficient"

Cons: "I didn’t understand that we got no baggage allowance with our tickets. When I looked on the website it appeared that star alliance members got the usual free luggage. Apparently it was a “lit” fare & we didn’t. It would have been worth it to get the next class of fare"

Pros: "Nothing. The flight was delayed and I missed my connection"

Cons: "My flight leaving on time"

Pros: "Even though it was economy class, I was able to sleep because it was very comfortable."

Cons: "Not sure, I slept the whole flight."

Cons: "Lufthansa in Frankfurt is a nightmare. Gates are very far apart and Lufthansa scheduled layovers are very short. We were running close to 2 km from one end of the airport to other with little kids barely making our flights. Boarding was on tarmac even for 747, once in rain once in 40C degrees."

Pros: "Nothing. It didn't happen."

Cons: "Flight to Frankfurt from Denver could have been on time so we would've made this flight to Prague."

Pros: "Nothing to say anything flight is cancelled two time. Fed up of Lufthansa service."

Cons: "Change flight rules and regulations. Shouldn't cancel any flight even one passenger booked air ticket. Lufthansa is very worst service."

Cons: "Requested assistance in Budapest for my 84 yr old mother that walks with a cane for the Frankfurt airport and Baltimore. No one showed up. Lots of walking at Frankfurt and having to board out on runway up all the steps was not easy."

Cons: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Pros: "Schedule was followed."

Cons: "At Budapest Airport only one check-in desk, #1 was shown on the big board for this flight and the airline Lufthansa was only shown above the check-in desk #1, which was dedicated for First/Business and M&M Gold status travellers only. Many economy class passengers queued there and at the end they were all redirected to check-in desk #3, as that was designated for Economy class passengers (however not any Lufthansa sign was shown above. When I mentioned to the ground crew (Celebi) that they should improve signs and not mishandle travellers, the person in charge (Nikolett Magyar) said to me arrogantly that they are right, and nothing they would do to improve the signs and passengers' information. This is far what I expect from LH representative, even if subcontracted and not an employee. That behaviour made my journey sour as travelling - especially with not a budget airline - is not just getting from A to B, but an experience which is worth to remember for good reasons, but not certainly for bad ones."

Pros: "The flight had plenty of leg room and a snack with drink was served free which was a nice touch."

Cons: "Very cramped seating on first part of journey from Budapest to Munich"

Pros: "Comfortable seats, good leg room, pleasant staff"

Cons: "We were late arriving in Prague and then waiting for my luggage only to realise after waiting till the very last luggage THAT my luggage was left in Frankfurt and I didn’t get it til 21.00hrs - totally ruining my plans for my first night in Prague!!!!"

Cons: "This airline is borderline budget airline even in business class."

Cons: "The Florence Airport has difficulty with baggage. Had to wait for over an hour."

Cons: "The entertainment choices needs updates and more varieties I believe."

Pros: "The seat was quite comfortable, the crew was great, and the food was actually pretty good."

Cons: "Going through customs and an additional security check prior to boarding was the worst. It caused the flight to depart 15 minutes late."

Pros: "Friendly crew. Great phone support."

Cons: "Online check-in was very messy - not available. After contacting the phone support, it was possible."

Cons: "Departure was slightly late (passengers still exiting the plane when gate was called)"

Pros: "Crew were helpful."

Cons: "I had asked for a Muslim.mealor a vegetarian but there wasn't anything so I had only cheese and fruits which was a disappointment"

Pros: "The seats were wide tall and comfortable, there was enough room for the legs as well."

Cons: "A little glass of juice would have been nice from the airline."

Cons: "It was delayed. I paid very expensive to fly on Business to be on the first row. Because every minute count for me on this trip. But it was delayed. I feel I should get a refund for sum of the money I spent"

Cons: "Delayed. Crew seemed pretty annoyed to have people aboard. Will avoid next time."

Pros: "On time"

Cons: "We got sanatizer when boarding which was so small like a stamp, useless"

Pros: "The crew was very professional and I cannot complain about that."

Cons: "Budapest airport has tricky terminal for the Wizzair planes. You have to go outside the main terminal to get to the Wizz terminals and then you have to go outside again to get to the plane. It was really weird but I understand that as it is a low budget flight provider. The thing that made me really upset was that we all (passengers) left the terminal to get to the plane and we had to wait outside till we could start entering the plane. I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

Cons: "Gate announcement was only a few minutes before cut off!!"

Pros: "Nothing. Horrible experience overall, but what you pay is what you get."

Cons: "Pretty much everything..."

Pros: "I was at the gate. Before the door to enter the airplane. The Hungarian crew wasn’t telling me that they are closing the gate or going to close it. They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight."

Cons: "I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely."

Cons: "Not accusing the customer of not having a priority booking when they do, not having an hour long wait, and not accusing the customer of having a bag too big when it wasn’t."

Cons: "Application instruction on baggage hande king and que to boarding."

Pros: "On time departure"

Cons: "We arrived at the airport 2.5 hours earlier than departure as suggested. They opened check in for Naples on the boards but the agents would not let anyone for Naples check in/bag drop. Once allowed it was chaos in the line. Once we got through security our flight posted as “boarding”. We got there in time but the unnecessary rush was uncomfortable and chaotic."

Pros: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"

Cons: "That I wa given false information that cost me a huge amount of money, And that the booking page does not make it easy to add baggage information."

Cons: "Did not fly. They wanted $100 to check my bag. I flew another airline."
