Pošto se pojavio Lupo ,2001. VW Polo 4 je usvojio potpuno novu karoseriju, potpuno drugačiji izgled, veću i težu šasiju koja šalje VW Polo 4 u višu klasu. Zauzima priključak koji je držao Golf.

KOMFOR –Vw Polo 4

VW Polo 4 je dobio mekši i prefinjeniji izgled, svakoj narednoj generaciji VW je dodavana nekoliko kilograma i povećavao dužinu. Ovaj automobile je nastavio taj trend, šest centimetara duži je od prethodnika. Sada je namenjen vozačima koji nisu zainteresovani za automobile veličine Mondea, ali žele nešto veće od niže klase.
VW Polo 4 značajno je porastao u odnosu na svog prethodnika i skoro je veliki kao Golf 2 ( proizvođen od 1983. do 1992.).
Sa 270 litara prtljažnog prostora, VW Polo 4, naročito sa petora vrata, realno funkcioniše kao porodični prevoz, za porodice do četri člana, za noge putnika na zadnjem sedištu je takođe velikodušan. Prtljažnik je prosečne veličine u svojoj klasi automobila (270 / 1030 l ), bolje u tom pogledu predstavlja verzija limuzina (432 litara), ali ima mnogo manji pristup prtljažniku.
Unutrašnjost je verovatno više impresivan aspekt automobila. Jednostavan dizajn instrument table sa jasnim oznakama olakšava korišćenje, a većina kontrola grupisane su u središnjoj konzoli. Brojčanici instrumenata su otmeni, zahvaljujući srebrnim okruglim okvirima, kao i bele oznake na crnoj pozadini su jasne i lake za čitanje. Modeli sa bogatijom opremom imaju putni računar montiran između instrumenata, koji pruža niz korisnih informacija.
VW Polo 4 po putu ide dobro. Meki suspenzija radi dobar posao upijajući neravnine na putu, mada veća ispupčenja se osećaju u kabini. Darežljiva prednja sedišta, se podešavaju po visini za vozača i putnika na ovom modelu, pružaju dobru potporu, pa čak i zadnja sedišta pruža dovoljno komfora za duga putovanja.
Poboljšanja struktura Pola dodaje krutost karoseriji, koji bi trebalo da dovede do daljeg poboljšanja performansi prilikom sudara. Sigurnosne karakteristike uključuju dvostruke prednje vazdušne jastuke kao standard, sa opcijom zavese i bočni vazdušni jastuci. Svi modeli imaju ABS deo standardne opreme, a ESP je dostupan kao opcija.
MOTOR –Vw Polo 4
Svi motori su prikladni. Benzinski motor 1.2 sa 65 KS je zabavan, dok je 16V 1.4 sa 100 KS još bolji, za razliku od 1.2 sa 55 KS i 1.4 sa 75 KS koji su lošiji od prethodna dva. Turbo dizeli sa 75 KS i 100 KS su odlični, a 1.9 SDI ima manjak snage.
Dobar izbor je 1,4 benzinski motor sa multi-point ubrizgavanjem. On dobro obavlja svoj posao – posebno na kratkim relacijama. Potrošnja benzina vozi normalno ispod 6 litara na 100 km.
Benzinac 1.2 sa 64 KS jeste najjeftiniji, ali često nije najbolji izbor, drugi agregati su bolji, a ovom se prigovara potrošnja goriva do 9 litara na 100 km. Nažalost oni su najviše i kupovani. Optimalni i provereni izbor jeste benzinac 1.4 sa 75 KS, a od dizelaša je 1.9 SDI. manji a moderniji je trocilindrični dizel motor tipa pumpa brizgaljka 1.4 TDI sa 75 KS koji je ređi na tržištu ali je i skuplji.
Svi VW Polo modeli se lako voze i stabilni su pri brzinama. Poznati su i po tome da pri velikim kilimetražama zadržavaju prvobitne osobine i veoma su pouzdani.
Istorija modela:
2002.: Predstavljen novi VW Polo 4, u početku sa troje a kasnije i sa petoro vrata. Izbor benzinskih motora počinje sa 1.2 (55 KS i 65 KS), 1.4 sa 75 KS, kao i dizel agregat 1.9 sa 64 KS i turbo dizel 1.4 TDI sa 75 KS. Krajem godine pojavljuje se i 1.9 TDI sa 100 KS i 1.4 16V benzinac takođe sa 100 KS.
2003.: Predstavljeni 1.4 FSI motori sa 85 KS.
2004.: Fun (rekreativno) i GT (sportiste, 1.9 TDI sa 130 KS).
2005.: Redizajniran model ( novi izgled prednjeg i zadnjeg dela, male promene u unutrašnjosti), turbo dizel 1.4 TDI (70 ili 80 KS).
2006.: Sportski GTI verzija 1.8 motora (150 KS ili 180 KS), novim 1.4 benzinskim motorom (80 KS) i 1.6 (105 KS), eko- verzija 1.4 TDI BlueMotion (80 KS).
2007.: 1.2 benzinski motor (60 KS, 69 KS ili 70 KS).
2009.: Premijera VW Polo 5.
Pri kupovini VW Polo 4 treba obratiti pažnju na :
– enterijer, svetlo u kabini je veoma loše, pod lako upija prljavštinu koja se teško čisti;
– motori, generalno su dobri, neki vlasnici su imali primedbu za alternatore na motoru 1.4;
– menjač, ukoliko se brzine teško menjaju imate razloga za zabrinutost;
– elektrika, zabeleženi su problemi sa glasnim klima uređajem i problemi sa lampicama za airbag.
KVAROVI –Vw Polo 4
VW Polo 4 nije izuzetak, bez većih prijavljenih kvarova. Novi motori rade bez problema, a stariji agregati imaju dobar pedigre. Kao i kod bilo kog automobila koji vidi svoj deo gradsku vožnju, proverite da li ima parking udaraca i ogrebotine suprotnom teško je naći zamerku za VW Polo.
Grub zvuk, zveckanje lanca, kod 1,2 motora može biti zbog istezanja lanca i može izazvati preskakanje zuba lanca.
Kod 1,2 3 cilindričnog benzinskog motora bregasta se lomi, verovatno zato što im je potrebno kvalitetnije ulja, od ulje koji se koristi.
Problem na modelima napravljenim od 2002. – 2003. sa 1.2 motorom je zatezač lanca, najčešće je izazvan ne menjanjem ulja i filtera ulja dovoljno često. Ulje se kod ovog motora menja minimalno jednom godišnje.
Kod benzinaca 1.2 12V često otkazuju bobine.
Plastični zatezači (španer) zupčastog kaiša kod od 1,4 i 1,6 16V motora može da otkaže, mada srećom zupčasti kaiš retko puca. To je bio razlog za izmenu intervali zamene zupčastog kaiša od 4 godine.
Jedna od najčešća pritužbi kod VW Polo 4 motora su curenje nafte.
2004., u servisnoj akciji, kod VW Pola je eliminisan problem mogućeg curenja nafte na pumpi za dizel motore ( neispravan zavrtanj).
Otkazivanje turbo punjača kod motora 1.4 TDI koji je proizvođen do 11.2002.
Kod prvih serija Pola sa motorom 1.4 TDI dešavalo se da se usled fabričke neispravnosti pokvari turbo punjač već nakon par stotina pređenih kilometara.
1.9 SDI, zbog lošeg goriva, kvar EGR ventila za povratak izduvnih gasova, zapušen je. Najčešće se jednostavno blokira, ili očisti se ili se zameni u težim slučajevima.
Problemi sa promenom stepena prenosa, najčešće javljaju na većim kilometražama (oko 100000 km). Probnoj vožnji korišćenje svih stepena prenosa je neophodno kada kupujete ovaj auto.
Teško kvačilo nagoveštava probleme sa kvačilom.
2004, u servisnoj akciji, sprečeno je pucanje pedale kvačila Pola, jačanjem neispravnih varova pedale.
Na prednjem trapu najčešće stradaju zadnji silen prigušni blokovi, na prednjim viljuške, a i gumice balans štangle.
Električnih problema ima puno, ali to su uglavnom mali električni kvarovi, problem podizača prozora na vratima, imobilajzera i centralnog zaključavanja. Od ozbiljnijih kvarova tu je alternator.
Kod Pola 4 ne postoji način da se pojavi korozija, samo u slučaju neprofesionalnihdodatnih popravki karoserije.
Loše odrađena unutrašnja zaštita vrata voskom, zadržava vodu u vratima koja izaziva kondenzacija. Problem se može rešiti pomoći parčeta drvca, kojim treba probiti vosak koji blokira rupe za odvod vode u vratima.
ZAKLJUČAK
VW Polo 4 dolazi sa opremom koja se pre nekoliko godina nije ni mogla zamisliti u ovoj klasi vozila. Komforan i tih, VW Polo 4 se savršeno ponaša pri svim brzinama. Upravljanje je znatno unapređeno u odnosu na predhodne modele. Zahvaljujući širem međuosovinskom rastojanju i poboljšanoj geometriji znatno je stabilniji u krivinama.
VW Polo sa odličnim kvalitetom izrade, pouzdanošću i dobrim imidžom je jedan od lidera u ovom segmentu. Mali automobili oduvek drže vrednost. Sa razgranato mrežom servisa i dobrom ponudom rezervnih delova VW modeli popularni su kao novi, ali i kao polovni automobili.
