Anakeesta theme park offers zip lining, gondola rides, a treetop play area & other fun activities. The live music is included with your admission ticket and it's located in the heart of the Smokies.

Great experience we spent all day just walking around checking out the mountains from different points of view there's a giant Tower , rope Bridges, kids play areas lots of shops tons of different food options everything from lemon shake ups and ice cream funnel cakes and pulled pork !! Also they have a very nice dining restaurant called Cliff top it had All Glass Windows showcasing the beautiful mountain views. there were live bands playing during the day fire pits to get cozy around . It's a full day caped off by a beautiful mountain sunsetπŸ’•β£οΈ oops I almost forgot zip lining and a roller coaster too!!

Beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. They had a 3 piece band playing live music that was awesome! Grabbed a quick snack that was pricey. I would suggest eating somewhere else before going here. There is a lot to do and great photo opportunities. Christmas lights are nice. When they close be ready to wait in line to get down for a L O N G time. It took an hour and forty five minutes to get out of the park once I got in line. Unacceptable! I agree with the other comments about the camera girl at the bottom of the lift. I certainly would not tolerate an employee with her lack of care attitude working for me. Other employees I came into contact with were very pleasant and friendly.

An easy way to pack a lot into your day by visiting this place. Although it's not cheap, there's a lot to see and do. If you want to do the zip lines you need to get there early, or even make a reservation, so we were unable to do that. There's a nice splash park for young and old alike, a welcoming thing when it is the middle of summer. The treetop walk was really neat! As well as the tower to be able to get some great views of the surrounding area. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax with a drink and take in the glorious views around.

Okay so Anakeesta was a huge disappointment. The map seemed to exaggerate what this theme park has to offer and the prices of drinks/food is outrageous. I paid a ton of money to get into the park, just to find out that I have to pay extra costs to do any of the things that seemed ACTUALLY interesting. However, the views from the mountains are incredibly beautiful and the theme park is pretty. Other than visuals, it wasn't fun. Little kids and people who love the outdoors may enjoy this park, but personally, it wasn't for me at all.

It was a fine trip and my kids loved the tree houses that we walked to on suspended bridges. Walking up the tower was really cool view. Outside of the one ride and zip lining, there's not a whole lot to do that was like a ride. I thought more rides for younger kids would be available. Still something to try but not a go to place whenever we come back. If you suspended her free tickets or discount definitely take it if you are wanting to visit.

They have 2 mountain coasters, zip-line, tree house kids play ground and other activities. The time we were one coaster was not open, the tree house playground was closed, and they could not run the zip-line. Some of the issues were the weather and the other was maintenance due to the time of year. We went in February. We had a good time, but I felt that they should not have charged full price for tickets due to parts of the park being closed( that's my personal opinion).

Beautiful park, with lots of fun places to explore! Amazing 360 degree views of the mountains around. We had a great time, although I will say most of the activities up on the mountain have extra cost, so something to consider. Our younger kids had a great time doing all the free activities but older kids may not be as enthusiastic. We opted to just explore the free stuff which included treehouse playhouses, slides, and the nature walk across the bridges which was fun when they were lit up at night. If you’re looking for a more outdoorsy adventure this would be up your alley.

I've lived here 6 years and finally took my first trip to Anakeesta. It won't take 6 months for me to go back. The park was beautiful, the food was great. It reminded me of Epcot's Food and Garden Festival. Take out rides and Disney things, insert natural views feeling of tranquility. It's a great place visit.

This is my second time, both time we really enjoyed the amazing scenery, our daughter 4 and 6 loved the place, it has so many things for kids to do, tree houses, tree canopy, bridges towers. The restaurants are all very good and the shops has very neat things. You can easily spend all day here. We went the first week of December and seen the Christmas lights the hang

Fun but a little pricey for what it is. We rode the lift up and walked the whole park, and rode the rail carts. All the staff was very nice. The park isn't huge but it's unique. I'd have to say my favorite part was the bridges through the trees. It was fun enough for a one time visit but not something I'd consider a must see. It was also very hot the day we went up and they've tried to add some shade here and there but it gets very hot up there.

Fun place with a lot to see and do. The views are spectacular. Rope bridges are cool but very busy. A lot at least a half hour to 45 min each way to get up and down the mountain on the chair lift. It is a bit pricey with parking being $25 on top of tickets for entry plus extra add ons but the views are worth it for the base price and parking, we even saw a black bear under us on the chair lift!

Well worth the price! Beautiful scenery! Lots of walking, so if that's not your cup of tea, then this isn't for you. We ate at Smoke house, and it was tasty. We got the pulled pork Sandwhich, wings & mac n cheese. Wings are served naked but sauces are available on the self serve bar. We purchased our tickets in advance online. It does save you a couple dollars if you do it at least a day in advance. We would definitely go back!

The Anakeesta park is very pretty and extremely well done. It’s extremely clean and well maintained. There are loads of shops and attractions up top. I do feel charging extra for the roller coasters is a bit much, but there is a lot of included items too.

To enjoy this experience fully, go on a weekday. We only had a fifteen minute wait to go up on the lift and the same to return. The views are amazing and there's plenty to do and see when you get up there. Astra Illumina will cost you extra but we found it to be very well worth it.

I really enjoyed Anakeesta. The park and views from mountain top are amazing! There are plenty activities for everyone including places to eat, restrooms & areas to sit to enjoy all of the the views. We only got to ride the top mountain coaster as the other coaster apparently had over a 2hr wait. The coaster was really fun. The lift ride up the mountain was also nice. Definitely worth the money!

Was not sure about this place at first but after our visit we’re quite pleased. Even our team daughters enjoyed this place so much fun so many things to do once you get to the top. Food and care they take of the facilities is apparent and the single rail mountain coaster was an absolute blast the hour and 45 minute wait in line was not but was worth it.

What a fun place to hang out with the family! Visited Gatlinburg and the Anakeesta theme park for the first time as part of a family reunion. Donna and Tanner were so amazing and helpful to get a great group rate for our family of adults, seniors, children, and toddlers! We all took the lift up the mountain and walking around, taking in everything the park had to offer. They even assisted us in getting at a reservation at the Cliff Top Restaurant which had the most BEAUTIFUL view we could imagine of the Smoky Mountains. So grateful to all the staff who made our trip unforgettable. Will return and highly recommend!

This place is awesome! I loved everything about this place especially the tower where we could just see the Smokey Mountains! But, I did not like how easily the straps came off the chair lift (we could easily push them off) If they had a locking mechanism or something that would make me slightly safer, but other than that this place is an awesome spot for a family vacation!

This was an awesome experience. We had so much fun riding the skilift up to the top of the mountain to start, then we were able to go adventure on rope bridge walks and some family friendly obstacles. We went early enough in the day to where there wasn't much of a line, waited about 20 minutes total to get tickets and on the lift. The only lines once your up there are for food and drinks. They do offer beer and you can walk around the area with it. We bought our tickets for the night show and were able to leave and come back without any problems getting back in. The night time lights show is awesome, definitely suggest going up there during the day and at night!

What an awesome experience. A must do for everyone. Our kids had fun going through all the tree houses. We loved looking at all the amazing landscaping...and looking at all the amazing views. I liked the food and the beer at the top. The best advice I can give is to get up there early. Look around, take lots of pictures πŸ“Έ but by 12 noon, tons of people around, hard to get good pictures without other people in the pictures. They also have zip lines at the top. Check out the pictures.

The garden was so pretty, especially at night with all the lights. We did the general admission & enjoyed all it included. We also ate ate the restaurant & the loaded nachos was great! Beautiful views & great little shops!!

Awesome place for a family vacation! Lot of kids activities are available, but adult supervision is required. I loved the tower where we could just see the Smokey Mountains! We enjoyed riding the Skylift. But I feel it's not recommended for <5 years kids as there was a big gap between the seat and the bar provided for safety, also we can easily push them off(a covered cabin is the right option). It would be good If they had a locking mechanism.

What a beautiful place!!! One of my favorite places I have ever visited. We went up the mountain in those chairs that make you feel like you are flying, and once you get to the top of the mountain there is so much to do! We then went down in a bus. Price well worth it.

Amazing views! We walked so much πŸ˜‚ we actually went up the mountain in the van and even went back at dusk to watch the sunset! It was a beautiful spot that you have to visit if you are in the area. Really enjoyed the treetop bridges and my daughter did the rail runner also, it’s like a rollercoaster that goes down the mountain and then brings you back up!

Awesome experience at Anakeesta this week. We took our 2 grandsons (8 and 11) and they had a blast. There are some add on activities available, ( zipline, coaster) but they did not participate in those and still had a great time. My wife has some mobility issues, but we were still able to walk around the village and see all of the wonderful views. There are a number of places to eat, and what appears to be decent restaurant with great views. Look for discount ticket sales before you go, it was actually pretty reasonable for what it was. You can ride the chair lift or gondola to the top… or there is a bus that you can ride up or down. There were a lot of people, but it did not feel crowded.

Top place to go as a tourists! We ended up spending 5 hours there walking around and doing the mountain coasters. It’s pretty inexpensive and full of families visiting from near states. The views of the Smokey mountains are phenomenal. AWARE: if you are afraid of heights, I would not recommend taking the chairlift up to Anakeesta because the chairlift doesn’t lock up. They have the option of taking a bus or a cabin.

In 2021 we decided to visit as the pandemic was easing up. Gatlinburg itself was busy as a bee so the trip to Anakeesta was a nice break. The views and attractions were the reward. The suspended bridges was a fun trek. I wish the alpine roller coaster was operable during our visit. Overall this was fun if you've got more of a nature spirit in you vs. the carnival atmosphere below in the town.

This is the best place in Gatlinburg to bring your family hands down!!! From the ski lift to the pictures they take of you to all the activities, fun stuff, the views, and drinks, the service are all amazing!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Laura Carpenter β€” Google review

I've been to Gatlinburg many times but this was my first time visiting Anakeesta. It was enjoyable with great night time views. Riding the ski lift to the top of the mountain was fun and was able to take in the view. You can also take a bus up and down the mountain if you like. Once at the top there are a few shops around for gifts, food, and/or drinks. Grabbed some hot chocolate and walked around. They also offer a light show that is an additional charge if you are interested.

Roger Gaddis β€” Google review

I really enjoyed Anakeesta and definitely recommend visiting and getting the tickets to Astra Lumina. Had tickets and the park canceled due to weather, but they offered a refund or a rain check that was good for 1 year. Went back the next night and wasn't disappointed. Whatever start time you have, allow the crowd to walk ahead, then you can take your time at each of the locations and enjoy the lights, music, and experience. Chairlift, gondola, or truck, they have a way up and down the mountain for you if anyone has a fear of heights. You may even see a black bear.
