Wed Nov 03, 2010 8:12 am | | | Masking of A Protege Cheri Hyousetsu Far to the north, a bit south of the Hidden Village in the Snow, Yukigakure, a small outpost lay surrounded by banks of fallen snow. Guarded by the everlasting blizzards, and protected by the unforgiving cold. Happy and Rich on life, the people of the outpost lived in a self thriving flow of life, with an equal exchange of goods. Trading for what they needed to survive. Never being greedy, and only using what was necessary, The outpost was suited to survive and live long for as long as time would allow with near end in sight. In Mid year, when the blizzards where at their weakest, the winds where kind, and the sun shown at its brightest, Yukigakure held its Chunnin exams. A good bunch of the Guards and a solid hand full of men had flocked from the outpost to meet up with caravans as they travel to Yukigakure to watch the exams as they went on. It was at this time that the outpost was raided. After planing for months, while waiting for conditions to be appropriate, a group of Raiders struck the outpost with all their might. The men of the Raiding Group sought to take all the previsions they could. Being led by a man who had lived within the outpost at one time, They went strait to the stash of goods and snatched up all they they could carry and more, filling their caravans and packing the backs of their horses. The Raiders, after taking all that the outpost had to offer, where dissatisfied. Having expected more of a defense against a raid, they each held pint up energy ready to explode. With all their fighters gone, those who stayed within the outpost where helpless and sought to have little to blood shed, Simply staying out of the Raider's way. Though they where quite fearful when the Raiders came back, blades drawn. Not being able to truly put up a fight, those who could fought with all their might. In the end, the Raiders slew most of the outpost, say for one babe, and a few women the Raiders took to use for their own needs. Amongst the Raiders was a woman. Brought for her abilities to heal, just for the insurance in anticipation for if a raider was to fall. While the Raiders loaded whatever excess loot they took, She took it upon herself to go about the outpost tending to the wounded Raiders. While on her round, she stumbled across the babe, face down in a blood stained snow bank, Crying. The Babe's parents had been slaughtered in the Raid. Her Father sick, and helpless leaving her mother defenseless against the brutes. The Babe being ignored as useless, and assumed she'd die in the harsh cold if left alone. The woman, seemingly the only person within the Raiding group to have a heart, took the babe up into her arms and mended her wounds. Taking care of a severe bludgeon upon the rear of the babes head, a blow the babe was blessed to survive, most likely caused when the mother fell to the blade. Once the babe was healed and cleaned, she took it upon herself to feed and cloth the child. The woman, recently found herself the victim of having to go through the pain of a still birth, was able to provide natural nourishment for the child. Raising her as her own. Giving the young girl a name was some what difficult. After great in depth thought, she came to a conclusion. Wanting the raid to never be forgotten, in pity for the child and her loss of parents, The women thought of how she had found the Child. Thinking of the place she found the child, the snow sprayed with blood, she chose then and there to call the child... Cheri Hyousetsu .... Meaning, Cherry Snow. Over the years, the Women and Cheri traveled from outpost to outpost, town to town. After a long and winding road and life they settled down in Konohagakure ( Leaf ). From the age of Nine ( 9 ) to the good old age of ( 14 ) the two lived happily. It was a day within Cheri's 15th year that she'd run into one, The renowned, Takahiro Kishida. After a few punches and slams to the powerful Jounin's heart with puppy dog eyes and kind words, Cheri was able to coax him into teaching her. As the new found Teacher trained Cheri in the ways of a shinobi, his heart opened up to the girl who appeared as young kin to him. One day, The woman Cheri stayed with, and at the time, called mom, received a letter from one of the men out of the old Raiders group. She wanted Cheri to go with her, when she moved to live with the man, but Cheri stayed behind, taking up the Last name of Kishida, and the new Poppa Taka. She lives her life now, with the Kishida's within Konohagakure, training hard to become the worlds greatest Ninjutsuist! | |

She wanted to be the best she could be, at anything and everything she tried to work on, or do. Pushing herself hard through the Academy to make Her newly Adopted family, and herself proud, She rose to great heights. Being top of her class and clamming the strength of a few B rank Jutsu for her own. Giving up almost any social life to study hard, and Pass through the Academy. With the words of the Hokage himself, she was promoted to the proud rank of Genin. As her life began to flow smoothly, Things behind the scenes began to fall out of place, with none being the wiser. As a "mother" entered into the young woman's life, a blissful joy set blinders to the shadows gathering in the future. Quickly falling in love with her "mother" Netsuke, and already loving her "father" Takahiro, so very much, She grew comfortable with how her life was. The tightly nit trio of a family was bound by a strong pull as one, but even stronger pulls as pairs. Netsuke and Cheri had a strong Mother, Daughter bond as they grew close. Shopping and doing anything a Mother and Daughter could. They where best friends, and Would always be seen cuddling when they where not out and about. Takahiro and Cheri had a peculiar bond, ever since the day they met. The two always got a long, no matter what, and Cheri seemed to be a Mini me to her father figure. They would have training sessions, and could be seen helping out all around Konoha together as Konoha's Fire Department, Father Daughter Duo. All relationships grew, and one of the stronger one's between the three pairings and the trio, was the pairing of Netsuke and Takahiro. They spent as much time alone together as they could. When they where not devoting time to their duties, or to their family, these two love birds where seen happily nestled in each others arms. They where so happy in fact, that Takahiro proposed to Netsuke. Things seemed to be going no where but up for the wayward family. While Cheri was learning plenty from her Father, and she was getting out and having a social life with her mother, There where plenty of times when the two would spend time alone, and Cheri would be left to wonder. Finding comfort under the Sakura Cheri Blossom Trees, out in Northern Fire Country, Cheri would often find herself lying on the ground, under their falling petals. Though she would mostly take the time to Relax, Cheri had a visitor almost ever day. The young girl was nick named by Cheri the day after they met. A fast relationship brewing between the two as curiosity as to what love might be, entered into the young shinobi's life. The young woman was kind to Cheri and let her into her world. Even though the girl was some one others where cautious about, Cheri seemed to have no problems with her. They where quick friends, and soon became more. The young shinobi played games with life while hanging out with her new found "love". Making many friends of the wrong kind, and either not knowing, or not caring. One day, Cheri's new companion came up with a plan. She had an offer for Cheri that she could not refuse. Wishing to be strong in everything she did in life, Cheri rushed to take advantage of this opportunity. (( The following is a brief description of An Event held by DM Orochimaru that actually took place In Character on the server. )) The two star crossed "lovers" went off on a small adventure with several friends of theirs. Seeking an ancient text to help better Cheri. Following the guidance of the young shinobi's oddly well informed special someone, to the depths of Countries that have not been explored for quite some time. The group wondered about, talking quietly amongst themselves. Almost no one, expecting what to find, or to happen. Their long travel brought them to a odd cave, which held an alarmingly obvious chakra presence, within a mist that flooded its entrance. Quietly slipping into the cave, sticking within a well thought up formation, the group of power seekers fond themselves face to face with a murderous band of bandits. To no one's eye where these any normal bandits. They all had something off about them, as weird markings and a lot of blood coated the floor of the cave. Though Cheri's goal, lay in front of them. After a long detailed fight, several being deeply wounded, while the bandits where slain without a care, The couple who drug this band of shinobi on the quest, took some time to search the odd markings. Finding an old scroll, Cheri was made to stand in the middle of the markings, which where ancient runes. A painful ritual was performed with hopes of improving Cheri, though nothing seemed to happen. Only time would tell. Unknown to any, what secrets the scroll's ancient gift fought within the young girl.

Thu Nov 04, 2010 12:22 am | | | A New Beginning The Awakening In the life of a young shinobi, whom all her life went by the name of Cheri Hyousetsu, things where drastically changing in all sorts of directions. Seemingly, For every good there was a bad. However, the bad seemed to outweigh the good. Cheri pushed herself hard to grow stronger as a shinobi, climbing through the ranks, slowly, though happily. She was able to learn several Jutsu in a short span of time. Though her luck sprung up even shorter, when she was unable to pass the Chunin exams on her first try. Feeling it was her fault, She still knew otherwise. The exams where interrupted by a surprise attack from Kiri. Cheri's new found love interest was amongst the group, Causing harsh conflict for the young genin. Shying from the fight between her friends and family. Adding further disaster to the life of Cheri the Hokage of whom she loved so dearly, and not only for his fancy hat, was slain in combat. For every small thing Cheri could do in her own life to ease any pain, something bad seemed to fallow. Many of her friends ended up vanishing and or dying. Even her beloved father Takahiro passed away. Soon after, her mother Netsuke up and left. Every thing seemed to be falling apart, even though she'd see her Friends, and mother from time to time, the crushed girl's world seemed to crumble around her. With all this going on, a smile returned to Cheri's features when her mother Netsuke returned to the village to stay. Time passed by Slowly for Cheri, as each day grew longer. Till one day, a mysterious women named "Tender" came to Konoha. "Tender" is a member of the Senju clan, Within the branch called Enmanagi After a long wait, and several shaken nerves,
Time seemed to stand still during
"Tender's" visit to the War wagging and locked down village of Konoha. In awe, shock, and wonder, Cheri, the lost girl from the north, whom had been adopted by the women that helped slay her family, and passed on to Takahiro... Was discovered to be the protege to this Rare Bloodline. A quickly dying clan, of whom desperately needed Cheri to awaken. After a short ritual, Cheri became a light with her Awaken bloodline. A Kekkei Genkai through the Senju Bloodline, within the Enmanagi clan. This newly born Shinobi's life is now given a fresh start. With all her friends, and her Mother Netsuke by her side.

They are naturally talented in all three areas a Shinobi can train in. As well as this their Kekkei Genkai allows them to combine two elements into a third one. From the Senju came many lesser branches who made names for themselves through skill and perseverance and their Kekkei Genkai became fixed, only able to use one Elemental Creation. A few such Clans were the Hyoutan who settled in the Country of Water and the Kanton who settled in the Country of Earth. But members of the original Clan of a Thousand Skills have survived and become spread across the face of the world, often shunned or hunted, fighting for survival.
Currently the Senju reside mostly in Konohagakure.
DM Tsunade is responsible of this bloodline.

Enma means Devil and nagi means Calm Enmanagi elemental creation: Fire+Darkness = Shadowflame (Aneikaton)The Enmanagi or Deviltamers are among the very few Darkness users of the Senju.
Originating from the vast plains of Demon Country, the fearsome Deviltamers are known for their grace and blood red hair. Nenshouzakura (Blossoms of Combustion)
The Enmanagi use swift moves to perform their jutsu, igniting the chakra seeping from their pores.
When they use such jutsu, flame blossoms of a bright scarlet colour follow burst from their skin, healing the user when the Shadowflame element is used.
Lv.15: Shadowflame jutsu heal for 1d4-2(Min.1)HP+CP on cast. Can use NIN w/ DEX at -2. 1DR pierce. LV.25: Shadowflame jutsu heal for 1d4-1(Min.1)HP+CP on cast. Can use NIN w/ DEX at -1. 3DR pierce.

The War Within Behind the scenes, where none could see, Sakura Enmanagi ( aka Cheri ) was undergoing a war. This war was not a physical one, Though it did harm her greatly. The war in question was in her mind and heart. The struggle was weighing on her heavily, and though none could see it, those that knew her well, knew something was off. One such person was her new and current Sensei, Kenshin. He, being a rare soul, saw the pain in her eyes. Not knowing what it was from, he took his role as a Sensei and put it aside, to pick up his role as a Friend, and sat down with the girl, to ask her, her problems. After a long chat, Sakura told a tail of how she was becoming home sick. Even though her home was Konoha, Hidden Village in the Leaves, She was feeling as if something from her life was out of place. Being the wise man that he was, Kenshin fused his roles as her Friend and Sensei, and sent her on a private Mission. Her task, was to seek out the Enmanagi Clan, Spend time with them, Live with them, Learn and Grow, from and with them, In their ways of life. With no hesitation, and with no argument, Sakura thanked her Sensei with a strong hug and kiss up the cheek before setting off on her Mission. It was several weeks before she had even heard a word about where any of the clan might be. She took in any and all information she could find. To her, there was no cost too steep, even taking on a few jobs, hunting down small time bandits only to be awarded with information. A couple of months after her leaving Konoha, and she had a solid lead. A small group of farmers where able to confirm the stories and roomers she had heard along the way, and Informed her that they had seen the travailing Clan recently. With the clues she had compiled on her travels, and a point in the right direction by the Farmers, She was hot on the trail of the Enmanagi Clan. It was a full weeks travel into a near by mountain range before she came across their encampment. She approached with caution, not knowing what to expect. To her surprise, she was greeted with open arms. The Enmanagi where more than happy to see their Daughter, and Savior, The Protege that had saved all of them, by taking upon herself the power and responsibility of the Enmanagi Senju Clan. Quick Re-Cap For those who do not know. - Spoiler:
Sakura stayed with her people for a full month. She lived with a family that was close to her parents. She ate the charcoal foods of the Enmanagi, she drank the liquid wax and oils of her people, she even learned a dance or two from a small festival they had while she was there. She learned a lot about the Enmanagi, and especially of the Protege before her, all those who harbored the great power of the Shadowflame. There where stories and legends of some Proteges producing flames beyond imagination, that where not of normal flames nor the Shadowflame, but this had not been seen for many generations. It was a time of reflection upon the past and her own future for one Sakura Enmanagi. While growing close to her own people, she was also discovering herself. Though it was a full month with her people, on top of the almost three months tracking them down, the time flew by fast for her. She had accomplished a lot, and learned a lot, all in the short time that she was with the Enmanagi. Sakura was upset that she had to leave, though she knew in her heart of hearts that she could no longer ignore her place and duty back home in Konoha. The night before her departure back to The Hidden Village in the Leaves, Sakura was packing her things when the Mother of the Enmanagi, the very same women who had sat foot inside Konoha, Came to her and requested her outside for something special. Outside her home among friends, the Three Enmanagi Elders and the Enmanagi Mother had pulled all the people together for a ceremony on behalf of their Farewell to Sakura. That night, they held a feast. There was song and dance, along side the main event. The Mother Enmanagi passed down to Sakura, her most prized possession, The Egg of a Phoenix. Wrapped in a black silk cloth, Sakura held the Egg with gratitude as if it was a new born babe, Though it was held for her, as she was drug to the center of attention while The Three Enmanagi Elders performed a second Sacred Ritual upon their Protege. The First Sacred Ritual was what bestowed the Power of the Shadowflame upon Sakura. The Second Ritual, was a rare sight. The Enmanagi Elders had only ever performed it to those they saw as worthy. They marked Sakuras body with three branded marks. Two runes, one upon each wrist, and the Clan Mark of the Enmanagi upon her chest over her heart. What they where for, was told to her in privacy, though having the marks alone, was a grand and high honor among the Enmanagi people. After guiding Sakura through the dismissal of the Marks, and giving her their blessing, They all fell back into song and dance, Filling their bellies before calling it a night. Closing out the evening with a bang, being sure to fall asleep with smiles. Though none wished to part, they gave Sakura Enmanagi a bright and cheerful departure. The motherly type being sure to pack some food for her and the journey ahead while the fatherly type gave some last minute words of advice. Hugs all around, and Tiers being shared, they said their Farewells and Goodbyes. With a strait line ahead of her, it only took a week and a few days to get back to her home, Konoha. The first thing she did was to find her Sensei and Friend, Kenshin, and Report to him all that she had learned. Home at last, the war within had calmed and all was right again. | |

Sharing her rations with the Chick, she was able to feed both herself and the young Phoenix with out any problems. It was quite a shock to see how quickly the bird grew. By the time Konoha was in sight, the Young Chick had grown to be a healthy Adult Phoenix. With Cinder by her side, Cheri would forever have a part of her Family along side her at all times. | |
